NEW FUNCTIONALITY OF THE SYSTEM FOR ELECTRONIC CONDUCT OF EXAMS BY THE EXECUTIVE AGENCY "RAILWAY ADMINISTRATION"
According to Ordinance № 56 from February 14, 2003, on the requirements, conditions, and procedure for training candidates for acquiring the competency required by personnel responsible for the safety of rail transport, or recognition of such competency and the procedure for conducting verification exams for the personnel responsible for the safety of transports, the operational and technical staff responsible for the safety of the transports of the State Railway Infrastructure Company (SRIC) and railway carriers must periodically confirm their competency by organizing and conducting exam sessions.
In the year 2020/21, the Executive Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Railway Administration (EEMRA) developed and implemented a project for electronic conduct of exams to verify the knowledge of personnel responsible for the safety of rail transport. At the end of 2021, the electronic system was upgraded with new functionality. Access to it is provided via the internet through EEMRA's website www.iaja.bg, allowing everyone interested to train online. A separate database has been created for the electronic system, from which a test is automatically generated, depending on the desired competency, which the trainee can solve in real-time. By providing a unique code, each user will be able to check the results of the tests taken, the correct and incorrect answers. The self-study tests are aimed at creating better opportunities for training and verification of the knowledge of personnel responsible for the safety of transports. The created online environment closely resembles that of the computer system for examination in EEMRA's exam rooms.
The system is open for upgrades and corrections to the database of questions and answers.
Please be active in signaling any inaccuracies, wrong answers, ambiguities, and also new suggestions for expanding the database.
